Doggy, Doggy, Where's Your Bone!

Several of my clients have ordered heating packs for their cats and/or dogs.  I got an idea to make a bone shaped heat pack.   Will the pets like it more?  What do you think?

Chocolate Snowflakes

Last night during our family night I was able to make a few hair clips.  Often I have a few different ideas to try out with all different kinds of colors, but this time my only color idea was brown.  How many different kinds of creations can you make with the color brown?  Well here are some clips we came up with.  I say "we" because even though I made these, Amy always tells me her opinions and ideas.  This is my favorite part-having her apart of what I'm doing.

Neapolitan Pinwheel

I call this clip the Neapolitan pinwheel because the colors remind me of Neapolitan ice cream.

Polka Dot and Brown Bow Tie Clip
Pin Striped Bow Tie
Bow tie clips are one of my favorites, so of course, I made a few of these.

Crochet Hair Band - Brown & Pink

I attached this pretty pink crochet flower to my brown hair band.  That came out nice.

Chocolate Snowflake

And since it is winter I made a few chocolate brown hair clips with snowflakes in the center.  When I have a chance I will make a few "fancier" snowflake clips and post those.  Family night took first priority, as it should  : )

15x5 inch Ornate

This heating pack was requested by a customer today.  I have never made this particular print in a 15x5 size (usually 10x10 is reqested), but this came out nice!

Childrens Heat Packs

Now that winter is here in full force, it's time to keep the little ones bundled and warm.  My little people hate being cold!  When they come in from playing outside they usually ask me for a heat pack for their little hands, noses and ears.  I decided I should make a heat pack that was more their size. So, I found this adorable fabric to make childrens size heat packs. The panels have 5 different animal figures on them: a lion, monkey, zebra, an elephant and alligator.  Each heat pack is 5x5 inches, and have a different animal on each side. They only take 45 seconds to 1 minute before they are heated and ready to go.  This adds more fun to winter!

First of the New Year!

Today while we were all lounging around, I got an itch to try a new design for a pair of flip flops.  I know it's December, but these colors will match any New Years Party!  And if your like me you wear flip flops year 'round.  The pictures never do the crystals justice, but these are red, white, and blue Swarovski Crystals on a metalic black flip flop.  They are an Old Navy Brand, but they are made in Brazil.  I have to do some special "digging" to find them because most of what is in the stores is made in China and even though they look the same they are not as comfortable.  These are the most comfortable, economic flip flops I have ever come across and everyone who has purchased a pair has given nothing but compliments about how comfortable they are.

Your Favorite Sports Teams!

My latest endeavor has been creating sports themed heating packs.  I have a few different teams at the moment and will gradually be adding more.   Two different people have requested bags with their favorite team.  Since this is football season, it is easier to get in fabric for those teams.  One of my requests was for someones home baseball team, so I had to special order for that.  It took a little searching, but we found it.  If you would like to see your favorite team on your heating pack let me know.
I know I should have the Seahawks on here, but most of my relatives are Vikings fans!  Don't worry, the Hawks are coming soon.

Black & White Collection

These are the latest heating pack covers.  They are made from soft flannel.  My personal favorite is the dark grey and black, it's even softer that the other two shown!
